“Emotional Truth”

What’s the “emotional truth” of your character? Great advice from a seminar I attended this week with awesome speaker Marietta Zacker @agentzacker, agent with the Nancy Gallt Literary Agency. Marietta [5599]fillmorereally challenged the attendees to dig deeper into their characters so the reader can see into the character’s heart . . . so true.

What is your character’s “emotional truth” man?

  1. I know I’m not a fiction writer, but you hit something I try to find from clients for social media. Small businesses need to recognize that even if they are part of a franchise, each business has its own “emotional truth.” The personalities of the owner and staff make the business far more than the product.
Thanks for the different perspective, Debbie!
